I was at rockbottom.
Not the kind you read about. The real kind — where you don't know what you want, who you are, or why you keep going.
So I went back to the beginning. Back to the kid who never felt right in what everyone else was wearing. The one who always wanted something that felt like him. I picked up a notebook and a pen and started designing. No business plan. No strategy. No overthinking — and I overthink everything in life. This was the one moment I didn't.
What I felt in that moment can't be fully described. But I'll try: freedom. Real freedom. And the certainty that — finally — I was doing the right thing. Everything around me was wrong. This felt right.
That feeling became SentierDeGloire.
When I shared the idea with my brother — my only brother, my mentor, my best friend — he felt it immediately. He saw the vision before I fully did. He believed in SDG before I did. He believed in me before I did.
He's no longer with us.
But what he saw in SDG — that hasn't left. It never will.
This brand is our legacy. Mine and his. Not built on trends. Not built on money. Built on a decision to never let life win. To choose a path — your own path — and walk it regardless of what it costs.
SDG is for those people.
